DUMBELL.

The forerunner of the dumbbell, halteres, were used in ancient Greece as lifting weights and also as weights in the ancient Greek version of the long jump. A kind of dumbbell was also used in India for more than a millennium, shaped like a club – so named Indian club. The design of the "Nal", as the equipment was referred to, can be seen as a halfway point between a barbell and a dumbbell. It was generally used in pairs, in workouts by wrestlers, bodybuilders, sports players, and others wishing to increase strength and muscle size.

What Is Light Graffiti?

Did anyone of u watch the tv programme last night?. It was on M3/ Majalah 3 reviewing about Light Graffiti and about a group called HLG: Hikarimoji( wondering what this means) Light Graffiti from Malaysia. Found about their blog here:.http://hikarimoji.blogspot.com/ . Very interesting!..

Would like to learn the techniques!.. Is it possible by using non- DSLR?.. Anybody can give your opinion here?..

Light painting, also known as light drawing or light graffiti is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. In many cases the light source itself does not have to appear in the image. The term light painting also encompasses images lit from outside the frame with hand-held light sources. The first known photographer to use this technique was Man Ray in his series "Space Writing" created in 1935. The photographer Ellen Carey discovered Man Ray's signature signed by penlight nearly 74 years after the pictures had been taken
